SO............. the new year has begun and the only travel so far was on January1 - to the Rathausplatz in Vienna to watch the Vienna Philharmoniker orchestra's New Year's Day concert. Seen by millions around the world on live TV a group of us here in Vienna have taken to watching the event on a big screen at the square in front of the Vienna town hall. A cool and misty day this year with fog coming and going throughout the morning but we had access to plenty of gluhwein to keep out the cold!

Planning for the year includes a few trips already pencilled in and include 2 or 3 new countries as well.
